Can you interchange low profile tires with a 1998 Dodge avenger Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The low profile tires are  R-17. And the
tires off car now are R-16. I'm almost
certain same size rim, same size tires.
My dumb question?? Do I need a special
profile rim????
