2000 Durango starts, then dies within a few seconds

Asked by DudeDriver Feb 15, 2016 at 08:45 AM about the 2000 Dodge Durango

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The Durango has over 275k miles, so this may be the beginning of the end.
In very cold weather, it runs poorly, but lately even in nice weather it will start
but then just die after a few miles.  More recently, it won't stay running at all
after just a few seconds.

Wow, congratulations on the 275,000 miles. Don't tell me that you didn't get your money's worth. With all this wear and tear on the engine and the rest of the car, is it really worth fixing. Get a new car.
