Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car won't start it
won't even click the fuel
pump won't work the
gauges on the dash will
not work but the battery
is good the starter is
good but all the lights
work the radio works it
just will not turn over I
don't know why

Make sure battery has a full charge and all connections are good, on all ends, not just at the battery. If your saying starter motor won't crank the engine, note the diagram. You can see the fuse. There is the starter relay, you can see neutral switch for automatic tranny. You can use test light to check for voltage anywhere along that system. There are two voltage circuits at starter motor, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other circuit goes hot with key in crank position and the relay is energized. The starter motor grounds through engine block. voltage and grounds are important. Any testing make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set.

No coming bettery signel befor starting what is the problem

How to get a key out of the ignition: Had this problem years ago because it was a replacement key. Put the gearshift in park you then pull the button on gearshift top and move it softly a little forth and back simultaniously try to take the key out. Let me know if it helped.
