2016 Grand Caravan Black Top

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I bought the above noted vehicle after test driving it at another one. The one that I test drove was fitted with the 10 way adjustable power seat but the one that I purchased didn't have it. I was told by the dealer that it was not possible to buy and install the power seat due to wiring harnesses and modules. Is this in fact true?

Yes, the response from the dealer is likely true. The 10 way seat requires a different wiring harness that is fed from under the dash, below the flooring, and then to a connection point under the seat itself. Wiring harnesses are configured only for the installed seat and are not compatible with other seats that have more functionality.
