Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I my check engine,  vehicle dynamic control, and
cruise control light are on.  I checked the fule cap
and it was loose.  I retoghtened it, and the lights
are still on.  I just want to make sure my vdc light
being on won't damage my transition with the
check engine light.  I am driving an hour more to
get home.  Please help, I just want to make sure it
will be ok till I get the car into the shop tomorrow.

Have the trouble codes read and post them here, Clearly there are other codes than just a loose gas cap.

Gas cap codes should clear themselves if the cap was the problem. The CC is Subaru's way of getting your attention when there are engine problems.
