Hi my name is Kristie I have a ford Taurus 2001 and I wanted to know if the mass air flow meter can be fix or I have to replace it

They can be cleaned. There is a new product out by CRC to clean the wires. Do not attempt to touch the wires with anything. They break easily and parts are expensive.

Rockauto.com lists them from $41-$212 -- 2001 FORD TAURUS 3.0L V6 OHV : Emission : Mass Air Flow Sensor.
