Truck idles up

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 83 short box Chevy with 350ci mild
thumper cam  demon 600. Mallory hei dist. It run
and idles fine but revs up to 2000 rpm by itself.  No
electronics except distributor new engine all new
components.
