Have you tuned the carb and or adjusted the idle screw? Check your base timing i believe it's supposed to be 10 degrees BTDC. Replace your spark plugs unless they're brand new and try running fresh gas through it from a Jerry can by running the hose from the fuel pump directly into the jerry can. If none of that works rebuild the carb, if you're having a hard time matching your carb number to a kit you may have a Canadian model carburetor which is harder to find the kit for. Is it 2 or 4 Harrell and is it a stock Rochester style carb or an aftermarket?

Four barrel, idlebrock carburetor, brand new. I put new plugs in new plug wires, change the fuel filter the gas is new. Runs good just won't idle I did not check the timing that will be my next thing
