my 2004 dodge grand caravan 3.8 takes a long time to start. what should i check

could be the check valve for the fuel pump isnt holding the pressure in the fuel lines. try going from off to on with the key to prime the system. (turn your key to the on position where the dash lights light up, leave it there for 5-10 seconds, go back to off then on. do this 3 to 5 times and see if it starts up faster. I had to do this in my 98 dakota.
