2004 Dodge Dakota - turn on my headlights it makes a clicking sound and the headlights and dash lights do not come on. Suggestions?

You could have a blown fuse or a short in a wire. I own a dodge Dakota and I've read on them and they tend to have shorts in the wires. But could also be your battery.

I will check the fuses. I had the battery checked, it's ok. I hit the wires up next. Thanks for your help.
