Looses Idle

Asked by oldarmyvet101 Aug 08, 2018 at 03:32 PM about the 2005 Dodge Dakota

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota. Recently the battery died.  I jumped it and took it
in for a replacement.  Ever since I got the new battery the truck is having a
problem maintaining an idle when stopping or reducing speed to turn a corner. I
shift into neutral and restart the engine without a problem.  It was running
perfectly before the battery was replaced.

Who replaced the battery ? If they did not use a memory saver before changing battery would take back and have them pay to have memory restored
