air intake please help

i have a dodge stratus 06 and i put the intake on and now the service engine light came on whats should i do

Did you check to see that all sensors were hooked back up? Does the intake kit you installed mention that you might have to re-program the computer? Is there and leaks? Did you check to see that your sensors were good? These are normally why the light comes on after a intake install.

Some (not many) aftermarket intake systems don't include instruction for relocating the maf sensor. If this sensor is not reused with the new intake system will not work properly and the Check Engine light will come. I would contact the manufacturer of the intake system that you purchased and tell them what happened. They may have run into this question many times before and be able to assist in figuring out the problem.
