With the car running and in park. You can cycle through different settings for the car by pushing the little black button (similar to the one that resets the trip-o-meter) You can change whether the horn honks when you lock or unlock the car. How long the lights stay on after you turn the car off, and the units of measure for the vehicle.

I just bought a 2005 PT Cruiser GT Convertible. I found that if you turn the engine on, and press and hold the right button (light button on the mirror), for 5-10 seconds, it will toggle between F and C.
