2004 300M factory rest code or formula after replacing battery....to start car and bypass kill switch

Recently removed battery and replaced with new one...   but after installing new battery...  car would not start, due to kill switch activating..     and code to reset/bypass is not in manual. {problem will exist anytime you remove battery post}

Remove battery cable,place key in,and turn to the on position,then place cable back on.Turn key to off ,then back on.Should crank.
