Chrysler 300

Asked by Preid2016 Oct 12, 2018 at 11:10 AM about the 2006 Chrysler 300

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi I have a Chrysler 300, my car keeps going dead.
I have a new battery in it but my car won't stay
charged. I'll jump the car, it'll stay running but soon
as I turn the car off it won't start back up unless I
jump it. Someone please tell me what's wrong!

Have the alternator tested. Any shop or parts store can test the charging system, parts store will even do it for free.

Either alternator or something is drawing power even when the car is off.
