You don't say if this just happened or not. How long have you owned the car? Did it used to turn off with the key? Did it turn off only after the key was off and a door opened? If you have not played with the wiring, you must have a bad switch. Does it turn off with the radio switch? If it does, that may be the way you have to go now.

Larry- Could you look at my post I added today. 2004 Thunderbird with same problem. Worked fine last 2000 miles, radio would go off when door was opened. Now, it's really messed up/ Lights just stay on phone, 2 CD lights lit, and drains battery?? Any suggestions? Thank you.
