Starter Issues

Asked by Curt Oct 03, 2015 at 05:38 PM about the 2002 Ford Ranger

Replaced starter, battery voltage is good, when u turn the key to start all i get
is a clicking sound, took starter out and grounded to frame, starter does not
spin or engage, i checked all relays and was told maybe pcm diode was bad
but if u take it out and plug it back in the relay next to it clicks, im at my witts
end, i need help

if you have power to the starter...then the starter is bad...
