93 deville the air and fuel filter has been changed we always used regular gas in it until recently and put high tech in it will that help or is it a waste of my money or could it be plugs going bad

I found out that wheel broke to the water pump and fixed it and it runs fine now.. The part house clerk told me that the 2005 deville Cadillac is programmed to reduce power or shut off before it got to hot to hopefully save the engine. is that true? 1 Answer
