speed control

Asked by wayno2 Apr 07, 2013 at 02:04 PM about the 1999 Cadillac DeVille

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my water pump replaced and when I got the car back the cruise control no longer worked.
I checked the fuse and it was good. I then call the shop and they said that there was nothing that they could have
done that would affect the controller( of course).
Any ideas???

First thing - check the throttle body to see if the cable is attached from the CC box. There should be one from the gas pedal there too. Second thing - trace the cable back to the CC box and check the electrical connection.
