I have a 2002 Ford focus backup lights work but nothing else in the rear does. it wasn't an accident possible issues in the steering column

No lights in rear other than
backup.  Changed fuses and
that wasn't it.

Need to start by checking to see if there is any power back in the light bulb sockets with a test light. Also a common problem is at the wiring harness plugin a little further back. Try just unplugging it and plugging it back together. Check the most common thing, REPLACE the bulbs!
