gear swift in an automatic Ford Focus 2002

i am driving a ford focus 2002 and recently noticed that it drags between 90-
110 and doesnt make a smooth shift in between gears is it a ford problem or
do i need to send it to repairs ? it is a second hand car and was been serviced
3 months back
