Does my A/C Blend Door Actuator need changed? Are there more than one?

Asked by cats747 Apr 26, 2014 at 10:05 PM about the 2005 Cadillac DeVille

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 Cadillac Deville now blows cold air from the drivers side vents and hot air from the passenger side and rear compartment vents. I just had A/C service with a Freon charge.

That happen with my 98 deville and had to replace the temperature blend door actuator. I found one at 1aauto.com. Easy fix right under the dash. http://www.1aauto.com/search?words=actuator+for+2005+cadillac+deville here's a video how to replace it. http://youtu.be/9qpog4AYb_Q

Since you posted this 2014 I trust you resolved this. I am experiencing the same issue and would appreciate knowing how you fixed yours. My dealership quoted me $850 so I am anxious to find a solution.
