I need some info about brakes?

Asked by Devan Aug 04, 2020 at 12:30 PM about the 2002 Ford Explorer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changing brakes and rotors. Rotors won't be in
until tomorrow. Can I change the brakes, let them
"hang", put the tire back on, and come back and
finish up with new rotors the next day?

The car will just be sitting.

Use wire to hang the calipers rather than the brake hose.

Absolutely. Wire coat hangers are good for this! Hope that helps! Jim
