Mercury marquis 1988

High beemschool work but headlights do
not. When I replace the fuse it blows it as
soon as I turn lights on please help

Not sure if an 88 has a Lighting Contol Module (they go bad). remove headlight bulbs, check wiring at the sockets, looking for shorts, corrosion, grounds, ect. Also check taillights, do they work?
