Hi, Does someone know the alignment specifications for a Ford Ranchero 1972? I can't find it anywhere.

old motors manual blue cover book lists specs back then.+ ten years back, 1982 or older,ask a local gearhead they never throw their books out

They will be the same for the Ranchero as they are for the Torino and Montego up through 76, the Cougar from 74 - 76 and more than likely the same as the Thunderbird/LTD II/Cougar from 77 through 79. They are all on the same frame/platform. It should be simple enough to find, that's for sure.

Here's an excert from the Ranchero and Torino Handling Manual which is available online at http://www.mre-books.com/ranchero.html. ( We recommend setting the alignment to the following: Caster +3 to +5 1/2, the more positive the better. Camber 0 to -1/2. Set toe inn 1/16 inch to 1/8th. You'll need the toe closer to 1/8th if you're using rubber bushings instead of polyurethane.) I hope this helps you out, Good Luck, Kenny/MrBlueOval
