I. Bought 03 Taurus and have replaced battery , car won't start , the anti theft light is flashing slow I think the key is the issue , how do I rest the alarm system to get key to work ?

The starter and ignition wire have power , could it be some type of fuse?

I had same problem there is a wire with a button under ur steering wheel reach under and hold button while holding the brake then start it

Hello, I have a 2001 Ford Taurus Wagon and it is having some issues. It starts, however, the idle is jumpy and thr RPM's surge and it sputters and stumbles and back fires at times while driving, and sometimes the gas peddle jumps under my foot.
