I have 2008 Suzuki XL7 and the hood release under the good will not work and I can't get the good to open and I need to change plugs an check my oil, how else can I get te good to release???

Yes , I had the same exact problem with my 2008 XL7 ... A host of shops were eager to help but none were able ... Finally I got the right guy for the job ... If you're any where near Indpls Ind .. an experienced craftsman using pro gear , flex lite & display screen , a lift & slot of grit unlatched the hood . It is possible to open without damaging the grille & hood .. It's a bitch , you just have to get the right guy , good luck if you're an amateur winging it .
