overheating prob

i have a 66 fairlane  it used to run fine but i had  vintige air put on it and its getting hot i got a new aluminum rad and eletrick fan and that dident work eather so i bought a new flealite mecanical fan and its still getting hot any one can help me out please do

My 65 used to run hot. Put on a new water pump and now it does not. If you have not tried it might give that a shot along with a new stat.

try putting in a lower rated thermostat .. i had heating problems with my 65 and i put on a racing fan and a shroud and problem solved.. good luck

my guess would be that your not getting enough airflow through the cores of the rad, look into desert coolers for a 4 core rad
