Fuel pouring out of the air vent hose of the Absorption Canister

After replacing the fuel filter, fuel is now pouring out of the air vent hose of the
Absorption Canister. I replaced the Absorption Canister and continues to
happen.

This just started happening before I put the new canister in. I connected the lines the same way as the original canister. So I don't think the lines are reversed but I will try. Thanks

how do I troubleshoot a fuel problem for a 79 mgb? I replaced the fuel pump but not getting fuel out of the tank to the carb-I have 4-5 gal of fuel in the tank 1 Answer

I seem to but be getting power to the pump but if I disconnect the line out of the pump no fuel comes out when I try to start. The tank, sending unit, pump, fuel lines from tank and gas is new.

Car ran well, but I took it in for smog and the technician let it idle and it shut down. Seemed like it was out of gas so I got more and restarted it. It cut off and wouldn't restart. Is it possible...

MGB starts runs well for 3 to 4 min and quits. Has fuel at the carbs, pump runs well fuel at carbs. Spraying starter fuel in the carb does not rev engine. After it quits turn the key it restarts but will not run. Wait a couple of min and restart it will again run well for 3to 4 min and quit. 2 Answers

Car has electronic egnition. Fuel pump works. Carbs have fuel. New coil. Just replaced the clutch. The car ran and started well before pulling the engine

I have a 1980 MGB which has been showing overheating without a clear cause. I had lost fluid and could not identify where from. Yesterday was very cool in Northeast and I drove with the interior heater on for five minutes and stopped for a few minutes . When I returned to the car I realized I had dropped most of the coolant and when I looked under the hood I saw the fluid gushing out of the control valve for the interior heat. what is broken ? 2 Answers
