I have a 2004 Taurus, It will not crank over.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced ignition switch & Transmission Range sensor, Starter will crank over
when using extension leads from starter relay to socket if I substitute a ground
wire on the non control side of the relay control circuit, but car will not start

U may need a key… check if the red security light is flashing fast when I turn the key on if it is then u need to program a key

I changed the transmission sensor range a circuit in 2002 ford Taurus now The car don't start or crank
