Battery drains when car not running

What would make battery drain after key is off

Most likely a bad battery..easy to check go buy a cheap digital multimeter at Wal-Mart etc n test your battery..battery should be at 12 volts n running should be 12-14 volts w heat/ac,lights etc on if running it's below that then your ALTERNATOR isn't charging your battery n I would start there..you have a drain on your system somewhere n it's usually ALWAYS battery or alternator that's what controls voltage in your car.
