Missing and sometimes shutting down the car while running

I have an 2003 Nissan Sunny and the car has been shutting down while driving, the mechanic changed the gas filter, crank and cam sensors and the problem persist. What was the solution to ur problem?

i have the same experience before and it was about one and half year ago and it was due to the cable contact issue found near to the cam sensor. i would suggest you ask your mechanic to check all the cabling attached to the sensor. Hope it helps..

I'm currently having same problem in my car. Changed Cam sensor & checked wire connection, but problem still exist. Some one please help.

My problem was sorted. There are two Cam sensors in Nissan N 16 sunny(Top of the engine and Bottom of the engine) and one of them was malfunctioning. So I replaced it.

i have nissan sunny 2003 and it has starting problem when cam sensor is pluged when i remove sensor led the car starts, i have change the cam sensor but problem is still exist.i also change fule pump and crank sensor.

You may clean the butterfly. Chage the Air filter

Hi friends, My car is nissan sunny FB 14 (1997) auto 1500cc. It shuts down while in traffic and illuminate engine check light on panel. But again get start normally when switch on. The frequency of shutting down the car is high while driving with Air Condition on and Lights on. With the AC also it can drive about 30 - 40 km without this problem. But after that problem begin. But it doesn't shut down when car gear is at "parking position". . I did efi tune up, throttle body change, air flow sensor cleaned. But problem is still there. plz help me.
