They had a little over 400hp for the ones that were sold to the public. But, in LeMans racing setups they had around 520hp from the Ford 427.

google supersnake to see Carol Shelby's twin supercharged Cobra. One of two made, the only one in existance. Went to 6 million at auction, which can be seen on Utube.

Actually...... Cobras (SC's) were only --- The REAL ones --- built in 1964, 1965, and 1966 then later, in the 1980's

A little trivia.... Bill Cosby owned the other one, but it was totaled out

All depends if it was equiped with the 427 Side Oiler or the 428 Police Interceptor engine.

with the 427 side oiler they were rated at 425hp because of a pact between the big three manufacturerers but were closer to 500hp
