How do i get my ignition to un stick on 2004 ford freestar?

My ignition is stuck, i am able to put and
remove key but the ignition doesnt move

Have you tried turning the steering wheel? a little specially if you find resistance

I jiggled the steering wheel and turned the key. It worked .
