1994 Acura Legend sedan 4dr

We bought this car about a month ago and weren't able to drive it legally til now. It runs great in drive and reverse, but 'pulses' or 'breathes' when it is in park. We just had a battery put in. Not sure if it did this before, we're just getting used to its quirks.
Any help would be apreciated!! Thanx!! Jan and AJ

Do you by any chance have a cold air intake on the car or the factory air filter?
