got valve work done and was wondering why im hearing more tapping than usual from the motor.

Clicking from the motor could come from the valve lifter. The reason that the valve lifter would click or tap would be insufficient oil supply to the valves and lifters. You may want to check to make sure that when the work was done on your valves that the valve lifters were not effected.

k20s burn oil like a mutha. so every time u put some gas in it check ur oil. thts the sound of the lifters not getin pumped up all the way and ur valve knockin.

put a bottle of lucus, upper cylender fuel injection cleaner in it,you may also want to go to a thicker oil,and first i would take it back to who re did the heads for a valve adjustmant.
