Can't open door. Possible dead battery

Asked by sunkistca Oct 10, 2018 at 02:20 PM about the 2009 Nissan Altima

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My dad's car has been sitting in the driveway for months since he passed. I
tried to get into the car today to take it for a drive, car wash, etc. but couldn't
get the door to open with the key fob. It seems dead. Tried to open the hood
from the outside but couldn't. What's the next step?
