Can I put a 2015 Nissan Altima 3.5 and put into a 2009 Nissan Altima

Nope. Totally incompatible. For true plug and play you need the exact same year.

Now that computers rule the car world, engine swaps aren't what they used to be. Each year, the industry makes electronic control changes that make earlier systems obsolete. Putting a newer engine into an older car might work, but you'd have to take al the computer controls from the car along with the engine, and the older car might still not work right. If your "09 Altima needs an engine, any swap will eat up the three grand the car's worth. It's best to dump it; a salvage yard might give you five hundred bucks.
