charging indicator light is on what does it mean

went to the store came out to leave started my car and noticed this red indicator light on seems to be the charging indicator like but my battery seems to be fine and it was not  hard to start. what could this mean

Your alternator is not producing as much as it should or has failed. Or Battery cables corroded and not charging battery ... or ground to engine block or frame/chassis. If your battery is healthy it will start the car several times and run, but will soon not.
