I have honda civic 2008, and I have a vibration when the RPM between 1000 to 1500 only. I have replaced the engine & transmission mounting, but there is no any improvements.

My 91 Honda civic dx hatchback drives fine suddenl accelerate while parked and engine light would come on I'll turn the car off start it again and it's like nothing happened not even an engine light 1 Answer

About 3 weeks ago I went to start up my 2009 Honda Civic Sedan lx and lights came on and everything but wouldn't start. On the third time trying to start it none of the lights came on, so I changed the battery. I tried starting it with the new battery, all lights came on perfectly, but it wouldn't turn over. I changed the starter and the car ran fine with no problems for maybe 2 weeks. This morning I was driving down the road when the check engine light came on and the engine suddenly started to rev up uncontrollably. I was able to brake but it was very hard to do because the engine kept revving. Without my foot on the brake the car was going 30 something mph, when I braked and got below 15 I felt a hard downshift. Has anyone had these simliar problems or know what might have cause this kind of behavior? 3 Answers

have a 2001 honda civic eu1. it has a d15b motor vvt transmition . after i drive fast for a while it while die or if im stuck idleing in traffic.. it will simg but engine wont turn over. i would just wait it out less than 5 mins and it starts.. HELP 2 Answers
