Honda Civic 2008 High RPM

Asked by asubhiz Dec 08, 2013 at 04:59 AM about the 2008 Honda Civic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Honda Civic 2008 automatic transmission. Yesterday I was driving over the road and i heard a sudden increase in the RPM. I stopped changed the shfts to P and then D again, and since then when i press the gas the RPM jumps to 2 and then goes down slowly, it can icrease to 3 when i press more. The car shifts fine with reference to the speed, however, the RPM is relatively high compared to the speed. Whats going on Guys??
