Installed 4-speed, hole left in steering colum from shift lever. Can it be rotated to bottom of steering column ?

After converting my 1970 Nova from a 3-speed column shift to a 4-speed it left a hole in the steering column from the removal of the shift lever.  Is there a way to rotate the shift section of the steering column so the hole is on the bottom rather than on the side ?   Does any company make a plug or cover for the hole ?

there is really no way to get rid on the shifter hole, the best thing to do is find a steering column out of a four speed car if you want it to look right
