1993 Cavalier 4 door sedan

I got in my hooptie the other morning ,placed my key in the ignition and got a clank.....clank from my selanoid(misspelled) .The engine does'nt turn over or nothing.After trying for so long to get the engine to say something,I now get no clank....clank or nothing else but the fan coming on .The battery is new with a full charge,lights bright and horn loud.Is this the starter ? I hope so hearing that it don't take much to replace.Oh yeah can I replace it to save myself some money if so hip me to it please! Thanxs

I would recommend to take your starter off and take it to your local auto parts store to have it tested. Once ruled out, we can move forward on trouble shooting.
