This car is great. Lots of storage space, comfortable seats in the rear. I'm 5'10 and can sit behind myself comfortably. It has cool little nifty features like the two rear glove boxes only available on the coupes. The rear quarter panel vent windows. The list goes on and on.
Build quality is great like any other honda. I have a 2002 cavalier coupe, my dashboard is all cracked from the sun. 20 years later the dashboard in my honda is perfectly fine.
The simplistic lines of this car are simply gorgeous. It has aged quite well.
The performance is so so. This car isn't about straight line performance. It's about corners, as most Hondas are. It corners beautifully and can hold a line well in the corners. The brakes are adequate after all it is a family sedan. That doesn't mean it can't get up and go. It has plenty if power to get up and move out of its own way. With its 130hp engine it gets 0-60 in about 7.8 seconds. And that's with 110k on the clock.
Overall it's a great car. I love it. I know it'll last me a lifetime. Buy it as a comminuted or first car. Doesn't matter. It won't leave you stranded.Sep 24, 2013

Loved the car wish I had the money to put a sick turbo setup in it and build the engine. This car has the potential of 300 to 600 hp if you have the time and money for it. It runs good has a strong motor and transmission.Aug 11, 2011

I just bought a cherry 1995 Honda Accord 2 DR Coupe 2 weeks ago and I LOVE it!! The styling is classic, interior is in excellent condish, has no squeaks or rattles. The 2.2 4cyl, 5sp. manual sounds great, and has nice pickup. I only wish is that it had an automatic door lock/unlock remote. The exterior color is burgundy and is free from rust---it has some paint peel on the roof (understandable for the year). The back seat is pretty spacious for a coupe. This car is very fun to drive- can't beat double wishbone suspension, front & rear. I am definately going to upgrade the wheels and tires soon. (It's rollin on 15 in steel wheels). Jan 30, 2010

I like the spacious interior, its not major but good enough for me. Performance is relatively good, Gas mileage is OK. Appearance, well with some tints, it looks good. Cost of ownership is good, and it IS fun to drive.Jan 19, 2010

I love how it was well maintained by the previous owner. It has a really good performance even though its old. I bought it for 1500 bucks. It's a good commuter car. The only thing i hate about this car is the color. LOLNov 24, 2009

Good acceleration, great breaking, good turning. great build quality. Performs with admirable enthusiasm. Great cornering. Can power slide easily, and burn out by power shifting. Very fun car to drive, makes a daily commute quite fun to make. Great gas mileage.Oct 01, 2009

The car is pretty solid. I got t boned a while back and damage was pretty substantial but could be worse. Its a pretty quick car, esspecially for its weight and engine size. Its probably the best handling car I've drove with a completely stock suspension. I think for all the honda's, this is the best looking car. The looks good droped a couple inch's. I've had fun with this car. no major issues to date and its's pushing 215k milesJul 01, 2009

A typically aggressive style and very good performance
too! Typical 0-60 time is around 7 secs with a good top
end. Confidence in Vtec engine improves driving
experience. As with all Jap cars it's built to last! A real
easy drive with Motorways becoming bearable again.
Only downside is - It costs a fortune with an average MPG
of 25!!Dec 03, 2008

Acceleration was moderate, but with VTEC it's outrageous. Braking is fantastic and handling is one of the best front wheel drive I've ever driven. The suspension squeaked a bit but didn't cause any trouble. the Looks were beautiful. Overall lines are perfect for a coupe. Interior isn't that bad either. If you drive in low RPM, fuel efficiency is fantastic. Since I live in Korea, maintenance cost a lot. VTEC plus manual transmission is more than anything I had imagined.Sep 19, 2008

First Car. Good Quality except for a few problems. For a car from 1996 and the mileage no major surprises. For 140,000+ miles it ran strong. Gets up and goes. Very fuel efficient. High 20s low 30s mpg. Cost of ownership wasn't too bad. I loved the car and it was a lot of fun to drive. Drove it many miles and had many great memories with it. I would recommend a 1996 Honda Accord to anyone if you buy a good quality one. Great vehicle.Sep 15, 2008

h22 swapped 94 accord. It has a bold fab stainless header, hondas200, intake, exhaust, lsd, dual friction clutch, and motor mounts. The car is lowered with ground control coil overs and skunk2 800lb race springs in the rear. It has tokico illumina adjustables at all four corners as well. The wheels are 18" enkei evo5's.Mar 06, 2008

I have the five speed; if not for that I might not like it as much. With only 122HP it's fun to drive. Crashed it twice, put it back together twice. Good car.Feb 19, 2008

I love this car. It looked sporty in the 2 door model and it was a blast to drive. The Honda Accords have lots of options to customize them with after market parts and accessories. Feb 11, 2008

F22B engine, 2.2L non-VTEC, the only honda engine which has more torque than HPs... Great engine, not so much powerfull, but doing the job.Feb 03, 2008

The car was built to handle the track as well as be driven on the street. There more than meets the eye or so you can say with this car.Jan 25, 2008

The Honda Accord was the first car I ever owned, purchased while I was still in high school. It was good-looking, reliable and fun to drive. Between sports, music and work, I practically lived in that car throughout high school, pushing it hard with lots of long-distance driving every weekend. Needless to say, as a student I hardly took care of it like I would now, but still the car was extremely durable, needing very little upkeep. I still consider it one of the most reliable cars I ever owned. Oct 02, 2006
