There’s a lot of great technology in this car. Acceleration is adequate if you need it. Super efficient if you don’t. I love the displays that keep track of your fuel efficiency. Very informative. I get 57 mpg without trying all that hard. I love being able to run the A/C without the engine running. Keyless entry is great. The back seats fold back flat so you can sleep in it, perfect for car camping! Some of the benefits of electric, with the convenience of gas. Love it!Apr 21, 2022

The car’s features are all that I wanted. I think it was an excellent value. The car is missing absolutely nothing. I would compare it to a brand new Prius.Nov 12, 2020

great styling car with cool fuel efficiency. Super reliable and dependable
car. Spacious car for 5 with plenty of trunk space. Zero maintenance
Cost other than the regular oil changes and tire replacements.
Overall, best value for a commute car.

Iconic style of this vehicle is hard to dislike. If you like not spending alot on gas, this is the way to do it. Very economical - the more you drive, the more you will like this car. Excellent comfort up front. Back seat is o.k for children and rear compartment has excellent space.Dec 14, 2014

While there is road/wind noise on the freeway, it's not as pronounced in the liftback as it is in the prius c. The longer wheelbase and heavier weight also helps to subdue the bumps/vibrations on the road compared to the c.
Lots of trunk space, and if you need more, the back seats fold down for extra room. There's plenty of room for passengers too, though three grown adults in the back may be cramped. Three kids should be fine however.
Great fuel economy, you can easily get more than 50 mpg in this car unless you drive very fast, like 75 mph or more, or use it for very short trips that take less than 15 minutes..Sep 23, 2014

Car has every feature that a Mercedes has but uses regular fuel and gets 45 to 50 miles per gallon. I especially like the navigation system, backup camera and HUD display. Great commuter car and fun to drive on the weekends!Aug 22, 2014

This is my 2nd Prius (first one was 2006 2nd generation) and I love my previous so when it is time to sell my 2002 Porsche 911, I bought a brand new 2012 Prius.
No regrets. Even better than the 2006 version. With more power especially in Power mode.
No complaints and will keep it as long as I could.Jul 12, 2014

This was my very first car, and wow; did I get a great first car! I consistently get 45-51 mpg and the engine runs so quietly you never even notice it. The Prius drives smoothly and looks beautiful, to boot. Since it's a Toyota, I'll be able to drive it for years. I couldn't be happier with it.Jan 16, 2014

Love everything about this car! Fun and Efficient. Car is as tight now as the day we drove it home 4 years ago. Reliable, it holds its' value for a reason. Would not hesitate to say have no doubt with proper maintenance this car will last and last ... and stay tight.Jul 08, 2013

Awesome handling, quiet ride, 50+ mpg, stellar looks, doesn't kill
your wallet at the pump. Build quality is first rate. Why can't US
manufacturers build cars like the imports do? The Prius with the
Plus Performance package is an incredible car to drive. It handles
like it is on rails yet will get well over 50 mpg. What more could a
person say? If you can afford to buy one, do it. It will be in your
family for many years to come and pay for itself many times in
that period. Today's performance is not about running 105 octane
trick gas and getting less than 10 mpg while collecting tickets. It's
about spending as little on gas as you can so you are not funding
those crazy oil producing countries so much.Apr 13, 2012

What can I say, there's not a car on the road with an internal combustion engine that gets better gas mileage! Styling is an acquired taste, but I like it. Tons of technologhy, and phenomenal gas mileage! I regularly get 58+ MPG!

Solid history of great performance. If you have to buy a car these days, it makes the most sense to buy a hybrid because the gas engine is going to be the buggy whip of the 21st century. This car is excellent for a number of applications, but has some downsides. Before you buy, make sure that the visibility issue, mentioned above, is not a problem for you.Jan 19, 2011

Love this car. It has made driving fun, and I feel good about driving it. In town, with just a little awareness, I'm consistently in the mid 60s mpg. Overall, 57.8. Much better than I expected, has plenty of zip, and it's comfortable to boot. So far (approx 3,000 miles) a totally positive experience.Oct 25, 2009

Bouught the package III,been driving it for 2 weeks, have 750 miles on it, averaging 56 MPG, smooth ride, love all the tech features. Got the blizzard white, sharp looking. Braking is good, lots of room in back. Drove a 2000 Avalon for 10 years and don't miss it a bit. Aug 07, 2009
