This car is awesome! Bought used with 220,000 km. , it now has 280,000 and has run flawlessly! Its very versatile and economical. We towed it to Arizona behind our motor-home and were so glad to have it. And it looks good. I like the older styling much better than the new, gentrified versions. Nothing compares and I wouldnt change a thing.Jul 28, 2021

Wow! Great car, low maintenance, super on gas. Excellent safety record. Handles great, firm suspension. I really like the table feature, ( it has a card table covering the wheel well in the cargo area.) Do basic maintenance and the Honda CR-V will last way past 300,000 + miles. Great car, love it. liked most everything about the CRV; we had great experience with it for commuting and family travel for 12 years; comfortably fits 4 adults or 2 adults & 3 kids; storage area ample for almost anything; seats fold down; roomy interior. Extremely reliable and no cost maintenance.Dec 27, 2014

We brought the car for my wife in 2008. Previous owner put 76,000 miles on it in two years driving for business so almost all highway miles, so we knew we were getting a good used vehicle. Super reliable and had plenty of room for her to haul stuff around. Gas mileage is great and plenty of zip for a four cylinder engine.Jun 19, 2014

I love this car. It has gotten me through 12 years of commuting with no major repairs necessary. Granted, I try to do my preventative maintenance. It's nearing the end of it's lifespan now but it still almost as reliable as ever!Jun 16, 2014

I love the Honda CRV. Reliable, excellent on snow and ice. Good gas mileage. Lots of cargo/trunk space. Has held its value above my expectations. Has almost 200,000 miles and has had no major problems. Great car for anyone!Jun 02, 2014

I had been looking for a smaller SUV for quite awhile, and loved the CR-V from my first test drive. It is sporty but comfortable. The gas mileage is very good, and the little extras like adjustable cup holders and an easy-access trunk door just make it the perfect fit for our on-the-go family.Apr 16, 2014

I love this car. It has been fun to drive and it is very reliable during the winter when there is a lot of snow. The AWD is a plus. The interior has a lot of space and the cool folding rear picnic table under the cargo area was a great idea for this model. Apr 20, 2013

I loved everything about this car. The only reason I am trying to sell it is because I have traded up and we already have too many cars. The car has never given any problems. I have done all maintenance as required. Everything works great. Great on gas mileage as well as comfort.Sep 26, 2012

i liked the car a lot overall. the handling, fuel economy, and overall style pleases any driver. i think anyone would enjoy this as a first car or daily driver. low main. costs make it more then worth buying i give it 5 stars Aug 16, 2012

I have been using this car for 7 years. Exceptional strength steady and does not require expensive maintenance costs, just change the oil every 6 months. All my family members are also very pleased with the car. I am very proud of this car.Jul 09, 2012

Quality workmanship in manufacturing. Good gas mileage. Air conditioning and heater work well. Accelerates well on hills. Cost of ownership reasonable. No squeaks or rattles. Fun and comfortable car to drive. Car has been well maintained. Good cargo space. Table in trunk area.Apr 04, 2011

Superb at most things it was designed for. Not a true off roader, but really handles the snow well. Loads of room, comfortable and quiet, Fairly economical and very smooth. Great build quality, 100% reliable and superb auto gearbox.Lots of toys and looks good. Will buy another one when this one is tired out. Great valueJan 03, 2011

This is the best all-around car I have ever owned and I got it used! It has a peppy yet economical low emissions engine, AWD so it does great in all weather conditions. This model and year of CR-V has the best field of view out of the front windshield. It is very comfortable and does well daily driving back and forth to work as well as having plenty of comfort and room for long trips with the family.Nov 06, 2010

bought this vehicle for the purpose of transporting family and on occasion moving some larger items, that would otherwise not fit in the trunk of a car. So far its done all that ive wanted and expected. moves me, wifey and baby from home to our desired destination and back, in comfort and some style. not affraid to do some work, so far ive carried a 2.3l Ford Engine in the back engine area. no problem. the 2.4L iv-tec engine has some pep.gets the vehicle moving and past the slowgoing Toyota's. realtime 4 wheel drive comes standard on the ex model i believe. though opporation is transparant, until needed. like all Honda's, solid built. appearance leaves something to be desired, though most of my time is spent in the vehicle. so i dont care, 6 cd changer,ample nooks and pockets to store "stuff", and the rear trunk area can be removed and transforms into a picnic table. overal fun as hell. for a low buck. no timing belt to be changed. oil changes and fluids, brakes, tires, occasional gasket, bulbs. not too much out of the ordinary for maintainance. Overall, this is a very good small SUV. It's as
reliable as you would expect of a Honda. It
handles very well for this type of vehicle, and
it gets good gas mileage. It's performance is
adequate, though nothing special. The
standard 4 wheel disk breaks and ABS give it
great stopping power. It's all-wheel drive
comes in handy in bad weather (rain & snow)
or for mild off-roading, and it's capable of

It's a multiple use SUV. It's suitable for individuals as for families. It's as wide as a Mercedes S-Class, and 5 people can fit in it very easily and comfortably. Very efficient and easy to drive. But it lacks a little bit of power. Not a big fuel consumer either. Feb 16, 2009

This is the car my parents have got. We also have a Saab 900 SE '96 but this is the car we mostly use. My parents chose it because my mom wanted to have a mid sized SUV and also because its safe.
I think it is pretty nice. It isn't very fast, and not the most fun car, but its pretty comfy and there's plenty of space in the back (where I usually spend my time) and it is surprisingly reliable. We have owned it now for like two and a half years and nothing has happened to it (yet), although the front window cracked in the winter because of stone damage and we haven't fixed it yet..
but overall it is really great value for money and great for long trips. although it can't go offroad like the real-deal SUV's. or can it? I really don't know we don't test the limits because my dad drives really boring. oh well

The car is reliable and considered safe as it is a medium high car where i get a good view of the traffic. the performance is good and the engine have enough power for a car of this size.Japanese quality does not need any further comments as it is outstanding...Aug 12, 2008

Reliable, safe, substantial, comfortable. Not the most peppy car, but considering it's a 4-cylinder, it does pretty well. Never had any problems with it. All the safety features I wanted (traction/stability control, ABS, EBD, AWD, side airbags). Mar 17, 2008
