I liked how comfortable this car is to drive. It's very fast for its age and has a lot of room for passengers and trunk space. I don't have to fill up on gas very often which is also very nice.Feb 22, 2015

I love this car and I feel very comfortable with it. Personally, there is nothing significant that I dislike about this vehicle. Spare parts are comparatively cheap and easy to find. This car is reliable and very competitive and I would highly recomment it to anybody needing a dependable vehicle.Jan 01, 2015

Other than gas this car is amazing, we are actually getting another one, maybe two! We love it especially as a family car, with two kids they can have stuff with them in the back and not feel cluttered. The oldest who is 8 can swing her legs and not kick us in the back especially me! Apr 07, 2014

I Love how reliable the car is... Hate it because it is so lackluster when it comes to driving it... Decent mpg should be better for a four banger... Plan on getting another one after this one bites the bullet. It has 150 k hoping to get 200k!Jan 25, 2014

The color is beautiful and I love the interior. Very dependable and pretty car because the new bodys are hideous in my opinion... much too bubbly and futuristic cheap look. The new ones are a lot better on gas. My best friend just bought a new one because she loved mine, and she drives it for like eight hours and her gas needle barely moves. I love this car and recommend it to everyone.Jul 29, 2013

This car is both safe and fast. Excellent conditions, reasonable price. Perfect choice for commuting to work and family transportation. Owners has just changed the new Michelin tires and done the oil changed, including the transmission fluid. You will never regret buying this car. Dec 20, 2011

This Altima is fun to drive and easy to care for. It is very reliable and has good room and comfort particularly in the front seat. We use the car regularly around town and also on long trips. It has adequate power, but we are not high speed drivers. Accelleration is fine for driving in town and on the highway, it handles and brakes well. The ride is smoth and comfortable.Aug 30, 2011

The 6 speed makes this car, the automatic is not very good. If one can
drive this car (which I can) you will smoke all automatic 350z's no
problem. Build quality is good all the touch points are taken care of a
few squeaks and rattles but the car is 5 years old. Interior and Exterior
are very well thought out and quite a classy upgrade from the 3.5SE.
The seats are phenomenal and very comfortable and only available with
the SE-R. The car has been trouble free since I have owned it and and
averages 22.5MPG with my spirited driving. It is very fun to drive
considering it can me a family truckster/grocery getterJul 03, 2010

Performance is great, so far. Very fast for a sedan. Relatively sound vehicle. Build and appearance seems to be good, receiving many complements, which is a plus. Cost of ownership gas-wise, less than half of what I used to spend in gas. This car is fun to drive. As far as I can remember, and I'm talking from the 70's, Nissan always produced quality vehicles.May 17, 2010

This is a very well made car and drives fantastic. The Nissan is a luxury car compared to my old Mazda Protege. The appearance of the car is outstanding, and looks great for both guys and the gals. The performance is not absolutely amazing, but for the type of commuting car that it is... the performance is above average. If you live in the city and you have to go to and from places in a fast pace nature then this car is worth the money. Stop and go power is superb. The features that I bought with my car keep me satisfied everyday. I would be lost without my GPS now, and it helps know where my next venture is and able to get their faster. The interior leather seats and heated option during the winter is nice, and comes in handy of course too. I enjoy driving my car everyday no matter what the day has in store for me. Maintenance is relatively low.... I only wish it got a little better gas mileage! Besides not being a exotic/sports car this car is a whole bunch of fun! If you are into music then get some bose speakers they sound great! overall score is a 7.5 out of 10. Jul 17, 2009

Well I bought this car for the motor. It's almost bullet
proof. the vq35de motor is the vq30de evolved, think
nissan 300zx. The Nissan V6 is in everything from their
minivan to the 350z. Power is excellent with 245hp and
weighting in around 3,200lbs which gives it almost 13lbs
per horsepower ratio. The car is perfect for my family of 4
and extremely roomy. Trunk space is huge and both
windows up front having auto up /down is nice too. Hold
unlock on the key fob and both front windows go down.
Now the negative...the build quality of the interior isn't the
greatest nothing major and it really doesn't even bother
me. Tires...tires...tires, it eats them! the 4 speed
automatic is very weak as I'm on my 2nd one. BUY THE
EXTENDED WARRANTY as my transmission died at 75k.
Torque steer is severe (this is when you smash the gas
and the car jumps to the right). Long trips you will almost
get 30mpg and mixed driving I get anywhere from 18-
24mpg premium gas is preferred! Car is a total blast to
drive specially on the highway as you have more than
enough power to merge or make that quick pass!Feb 09, 2009

It's a very reliable car and I only have to change the oil about every 5000 miles...other than replacing the battery once in 5 years, it's never had to have anything major done to it! And best of all, it's PAID FOR!Dec 21, 2008

I just bought this car and love it!! Its awesome on every level; sporty, luxury, handling, look and feel... I can't say enough good things about this car! I had a Sentra and traded it in for this Altima SE-R, quite the upgrade!Dec 08, 2008

Performance: love the power, but didnt like the factory tires. They were too soft to hold the road. Once I replaced them my handling was a hell of a lot better. Build quality: I bought it at 25,000 miles 14 months ago. Ive put 40,000 miles on it and it still runs like a charm. Gas with my upgrades I am getting much better gas milage. run about 35 mpg on hwy, 25-30 mpg in the city, depending on how I drive it.
Car is extremely fun to drive!Oct 30, 2008

I absolutely love my car. Can't say there is really anything I don't like about my car. It has every option I wanted except navigation, which we just bought separately so it is now complete. It is super fast and the pick up is great, I squeel the tires without even trying sometimes!! The only down side is the gas is pricey with having to put premium in her, but she's worth it. The 06 Altima SE-R has the performance and handling of a 350Z. It's an awesome car to drive because no one ever sees it coming. It's a wolfe in sheeps clothing(4 door family sedan). I've left Mustang GTs in the dust wondering what just passed them! On the other side of the coin it gets the kids to the rink in comfort and style without compromising its sports car soul.Jul 07, 2008

Test drove this car before buying my G35. If you are considering this car, skip the manual gearbox and go with the automatic version. This car is meant to be a family car with a large interior. Lots of leg room in the back seats. Huge trunk space. Visibility is one of the best of all the car I have driven. The ride is very comfortable. Powerful V6 engine.Mar 20, 2008

Great car, as other V6 Nissan cars, the 250HP is almost too powerful for this front powertrain car.Jan 30, 2008
