The Tuscan is the best car I have ever purchased. We purchased in 2009 and had 8000 miles on the clock. It now has 118000 and still going strong. I have reservations with parting with it as I am told that it will still be going with 200,000 on clock. I have had Fords, BMWs and Bentley but they have long gone and my Tuscan is the work horse. Pulls my trialer and caravan without any issues. Apr 21, 2023

This car was given to me for my first car and I have loved it. It may be an older car but I have never had any problems with it. The car is at 167K miles on it and it still drives great.!Aug 30, 2021

Owned one just like it for 12 years. Loved 6 cyl, AWD and 4WD, solid car, could go just about anywhere, not too big or too small, always felt safe.Oct 17, 2020

Everything about the car is great other than the styling of the exterior, the car itself runs perfectly and I would definitely consider getting another Hyundai. Great gas saver also ran back and forth between Liberty and Kingwood many times on one tank of gas. Overall Great buy! Jan 15, 2015

Nice amenities inside and out - good cargo room for a small SUV, especially with rear seats folded down. Pretty good power from V6 engine. Nice amenities in Limited like heated leather seats, etc. Nice styling and great price for value. Owned car for almost 7 years and no mx problems!Sep 07, 2013

Overall - liked it - good family transport, rides nice and at 5 years old - zero mx problems. Rear seats fold down for lots of cargo room. Stylish color with features like leather seats, heated windshield wipers, heated seats, etc. Good choice.Sep 07, 2013

Great price for the package you get. It doesn't have a lot of power, but it is light on the road so it is adequate. The lack of power certainly helps this CRV/SUV get 20+ MPG which is good in that category. It makes a great car for a small family.Jun 24, 2013

Bought this car used for my daughter - it has turned out to be the most reliable, easy-to-keep car in the household. Has required just the minimum of maintenance in 150,000 miles. Quite comfortable on the highway and has adequate features even in the GL 2-wheel drive model.May 24, 2013

I've had many compliments from other people and I have loved driving this car everyday since I've owned it. I wouldn't pay more for a small SUV. This one has it all and then some. The trunk space is unbelieveable. I am able to haul large furniture items with no problem with the fold down seats.Sep 10, 2011

Diesel engine + AT = best choice for relaxing driving...and it gives good fuel consumption! The main idea of this car for me - economy)
Cost of ownership is not so high - but it's higher in compare with my previous car - Hyundai Getz 1.6. Apr 06, 2011

I have gotten as much as 36 mpg, with this 5 speed Tuscon, but I average 32 mpg.
This is my second new Tuscon and third new Hyundai overall.
I love mine in the snow, and the ESP works well in slipper conditionsFeb 11, 2010

this car is very fun to drive, and so far the gas mileage is adequate, the interior is very nice, especially the heated seats upfront, this my second hyundai, both are very comfortable. The acceleration is very responsive, and has a lot of get up an go, especially when you take off against a 1/2 ton dodge.Feb 06, 2010

We've had the car for 1 month now.
At this point in time we love it! I call it "Silver Blue Moon"
(Because it is silver and we purchased it on January 1, 2010,
The Blue Moon). It has a sporty look and it is fun to drive.
The Engine is clean and looks appealing.
The car has pep and power, it has the extra room we needed.
We love the heated leather seats. We love the sunroof, the
privacy glass windows and the great gas milage, approx.
24mpg.Jan 29, 2010

Good mileage.Excellent safety. smooth drive. Lots of space inside. reasonable cost. acceptable maintenance. This is kind of a car you definitely want to drive, whether inner city drive or long road trips. I tried it on every climate in Ontario and its response was great. Dec 08, 2009

I enjoy the fact that I am higher up than a car. There is so much more room in this vehicle to load stuff in. It makes for a great family vehicle and yet it still looks sporty enough not to remind you of a minivan. One thing I miss having from my last vehicle is a moon roof.Sep 01, 2008

Acceleration is a joke but handles OK. Built to last and very comfortable, although dashboard is a bit cheap and plastic. Looks smart, particularly from the back. Cheap to run for a 4X4, although services aren't that cheap. Engine is bomb-proof. A good all-rounder and excellent for a young family with plenty of luggage space.Aug 01, 2008

Excellent ride and braking. EBS and Stability control work well. Comfortable seats for long drives. Decent rear seat and cargo room. The 4 cylinder is a little underpowered but gets moderately good mileage for a sport ute.May 20, 2008

I really like my Tuscon. It's a good size and has enough room in the front and rear for my long legs. I would highly recommend this vehicle.Mar 19, 2008

Good car, but could use more torque low down in the revs and uses a bit too much fuel for the performanceMar 07, 2008

The steering felt awkward at first, almost too soft. The ride hight was nice, and you feel you have more influence on the road compared to driving smaller cars like Polo's. Nice and spacious inside, but the interior finishes could have been better.Jan 10, 2008
