i wouldnt recommend this for anyone on a tight budget, it uses a lot of gas and the repairs are very costly . it is great for hauling anything and everything you could imagine and the seats are very comfortable so if long trips are needed its great to ride in.Apr 23, 2014

For Ohio winters, this is the vehicle to have. When we were hit with 4' of snow, I purposely drove out on the worst roads and never once felt out of control. I was the one pulling everyone out of ditches! This truck has been extremely reliable... a work horse. Great value for the money. Apr 23, 2012

The Yukon is a strong truck with plenty of extras and comforts. Took a long trip and didn't NEED to stop just to stretch. Vehicle has great power for on and off road. And can probably handle most towing well. Mar 09, 2012

Classic Denali! Very well built. No maintenance issues in 1.5
years of ownership. Currently has over 130k miles. Great
performance with 5.7L V-8. 4wd with automatic 4wd. Some
peeling on dash in interior but otherwise no real blemishes.
Fuel mileage decent for its size.Feb 22, 2010

Best suv I have ever owned. Handles nicely, roomy, comfy drive, not that bad on gas. It has a lot of power when u step on it. I love driving it. Not to many blind spots. This suv is by far my favouriteOct 13, 2009

useless in mud or snow with out 4 wheel engaged, need waaaaay more store cubbyholes and compartments. bought this truck brand new, love, hope it never dies. Didn't have a speck of rust until 3 years ago when I had to drive the roxbury mountain road to get to workAug 05, 2009

This thing was a beast. I drove like a race car, and surprisingly it held up. I drove this thing to 260,000 miles on the same engine and never heard a peep out of it. The breaks had to be replaced a couple times and I put in a new suspension to deal with rough roads. Didn't get great gas mileage, but I loved having the extra room. It would get up and go with the V8, but had a governor would kick in at 100MPH. I even hit a few animals with this thing and it still drove like a pro. Very comfortable, but not that great looking.Jul 30, 2009

good on road and off road, customizable to no end, torquy like a champ, can reach 100 pretty nice for a 95 obd I 7k weight truck, only thing that is pissy is 200hp and spare tire where you put your storing stuff should goJul 17, 2009

The vehicle is amazing. It has strong accelleration and good pulling power. Stopping performance is good but the brake pedal travel makes the vehicle seem like it is a lot of work to stop. The handling I can not say too much about because i am running with heavy duty shocks, extra leaf springs, and helper air springs, as well as LT275/50R20 tires, so my yukon rides like a haywagon, but i still love it.
Build quality is excellent, no squeaks, rattles, the only thing is that the rear door handles both broke off inside. it has needed nothing major thus far and still runs awesome with 230000 KMS on it.
It looks great, especially with chrome 20's, and the interior desigh in PERFECT! The centre console is my best friend. Also the folding rear seats have been a life saver on several occasions.
The fuel milage on the truck is brutal, but it's the price to pay for a do-all capable vehicle.
Boy is this thing fun to drive, expecially 'cause i can take it wherever i feel like!Jul 02, 2009

Great vehicle for hauling the whole family on a trip, or pulling the boat to the lake for a day of fishing. With the added DVD player it is awsome when on long trips with the kids. Wish I would have gotten one earlier.Jun 29, 2009

This is my project truck. I've had it for about 5 years, my parents had it for about 5 or 6 years befor I got it, I put a lot of miles on it and put it through a lot of abuse. It's got 264,000 miles on it and still hauls ass like a beast and it handles better than my Cavalier. It's been a solid truck and I'll be overhauling it after I pay my car off and can afford all the engine parts and such.May 02, 2009

this is the truck that hauls the toys up north. And pulls my moms pontoon boat in and out of her lake she lives on. It has been in the family since day one. It has a very trusty 350.Jan 11, 2009

Great hunting vehicle. Pricey on gas but good for minor off-road use. Fair on performance but lots of add-ons to make it very fuel efficient or a great performer. Solidly built but could have a stiffer under carrage. Fun to drive and it doesn't drive like most trucks, drives more like a car than a truckAug 26, 2008

Love the vehicle, it's in great shape. I've done some modifications for performance, cold air induction and performance chip. I just wish the freaking gas prices come down so I can drive it again. Overall I love the SUV. White with tint all around, great fun to drive. I'm simply adding words to let me post this, so if this is annoying, skip it.Jul 31, 2008

Its 2wd, originally from Texas, so no rust. Its in very nice condition, no dents or dings. has 6k hids, 31x10.5/15 tires on 15x8 rims. They dont rub. Tinted rear windows, tinted tail lights. Its a solid built truck. Very powerful stock 350 vortec motor. about 255hp and 330 foot pounds of torque. not bad for stock. i would def recommend this type and style truck to anyone. Has a very nice towing package on it as well as a an aftermarket oil and trans cooler and trailer brake.Jul 16, 2008

They say these things are pretty reliable, so far so good. Gray Heated Leather inside and Pewter on the outside. With economy It sucks gas down, I'd say like 10-17 range. Gotta Love the 350 though. LT1 Conversion and a bunch of other upgrades will be added over time.May 14, 2008

Love this vehicle. Always garaged. Many long trips. Never a breakdown. Vehicle has never been on a hook. Do much of my own work. It's still my current ride. Leather heated seats when up in ski country. Wife has a CTS. I get to drive it after I wash it.Dec 13, 2007

I love my Yukon which I named "George" because he definitely is a work horse. I have pulled a fully loaded (and I do mean fully loaded) 6 x 8 U-Haul from Missouri to Florida with no problems whatsoever. Given the load he was carrying I still got around 12 mph on the highway. I get between 12 and 14 doing in-town driving. Just got back from a short trip to NC from Florida and only had to tank one time.Dec 02, 2007
