I got the focus rs. It is a drivers car through and through. Perfect blend of a daily driver and a performance vehicle. High recommend.Dec 09, 2024

Everything about the car is good. The glove compartment was broken but its an easy fix. Drives like a manual. It was clean to the point it almost looked brand new. I also wouldve liked 2 key fob instead of one. Nov 08, 2024

This car has so far been an excellent choice. The right size and comfort for a daily commute with enough premium features to make a longer drive enjoyableApr 14, 2024

The Focus is not wide enough for two men to sit comfortably in front seats at the same time. Door openings are too low, you have to contort get into drivers seat.Mar 15, 2024

Holy geez, this car is wicked. It spins the tires a ton, but thats what you get with almost completely bald tires and 250 hp. Anyways, got new tires, doesnt spin (as much) anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The ST1 is shockingly featured for being a base model, the manual transmission is absolutely wonderful, and people complaining about issues with the automatic is because they didnt put gear oil into it. Love this car!Dec 18, 2023

It has good features. Lane change alerts would be good, better than some small cars, like the Sonic

I love the car! It fell into the perimeters I was trying to meet. Under 100,000, manual, and something that would be on the cheaper side if something were to break. I just so happened to get a car I really really liked! Mar 24, 2022

This is a much newer version of my wifes previous Ford Focus which she drove for 10 years and 140,000 kms with no mechanical issues (other than brake pad replacements and services). This newer version has all the features and more of the old one and hopefully will be as reliable. So far so good!!!
She loves the handsfree phone, backup camera, economy and easy handling.
BTW: It has a heated steering wheel of which I am exceedingly jealous.
One day Moriarty, one day!!!! One day, I too will have a heated steering wheel. Ha, ha, ha (creepy laugh).Feb 23, 2022

I’m honestly in love with the car. It has a lot of great features for the affordable price. I would probably just compare it to the ford fusion. May 20, 2021

This model year had a transmission problem that I learned Ford knew about but went ahead and sold the car anyway. The only good news is that Ford is willing to fix it for free because of a settlement they gave to fix this issue. So it should be good to go after the fix. Everything else on the car is excellent however.Mar 08, 2021

Incredible value for the money. For 50-75% the price as most other performance vehicles, the Focus ST is the best bang for your buck you’ll find. You get very similar performance with a Recaro leather interior, Apple CarPlay with Ford’s latest and greatest Sync 3 system, carbon fiber trim and accents, flawless suspension and transmission, along with incredible reliability, the Focus ST checks all the boxes you look for in a car. I had a 2016 Focus ST from 20-90k miles before totaling it in a rough crash and never had a single issue with it, completely solid. I’ve driven the 2015 VW GTI, 2017 Subaru WRX STI, 2017 Golf R, 2019 Mini Cooper JCW, 2018 Civic Type R, and none of them came even close to putting as big of a smile on my face as the ST, except for the Type R. In my opinion the Type R is a little bit overpriced and lacks heavily in the same build quality and interior luxury as the Focus ST with the ST3 package. The ST was a no brainer. With some snow tires and experience behind the wheel, along with a light foot, it’s not bad in the snow either. But for the inexperienced driver you might want to look for something AWD like the STI or Golf R if you can afford those. 9/10 on the 2017 Focus ST (ST3 package) for me, only thing it could use is a bit more power but that’s what mods are for!!! Time for a $3k big turbo kit and 450 hp.Feb 13, 2021

Just bought this car yesterday! It runs super quiet, and shifts incredibly smoothly. Air works so well I had to turn it off for a bit because I got cold. Gearshift is a little tricky, it moves almost too smoothly and makes it pretty easy to shift into the wrong gear by mistake, but I imagine that will be just a case of muscle memory. 55k miles, but looks and drives like new. Overall, very excited to make this car mine!Jun 17, 2020

I absolutely love the red 2013 Ford Focus Titanium I bought last week to replace my 2012 Focus. All the electric features I have never had. Drives and rides extremely well.Jun 07, 2020

I like how it looks and handles. It is very quiet and very smooth, especially around corners and over pot holes. I am very impressed overall with both the feel and maintenance and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Love it!Mar 30, 2015

This is the first hatchback I have ever owned. This car handles pretty good and great fuel economy. I have always owned mustangs so it was very different owing this car. Over all this is a great car. The mods are out there to improve it and the market is still growing.Mar 25, 2015

Appearance - exciting European aesthetics makes the car look fast and sporty.
Build quality - everything is well put together. No rattles. No repairs whatsoever since new, super cheap to maintain, and to run.
Performance - although not a fast car, but the manual transmission really helps to speed things up, and keep things exciting for the driver. The clutch feels light and easy to use. Braking is sensitive when needed, and not overly so. The handling of the car is well balanced - European style suspension inspires sporty handling, but soaks up bumps easily when going over pot holes, and cracks.Feb 22, 2015

Transmission failure twice in 60K miles. Paid for by ford, with rental so not so bad.
Loved all else, except it was noisy on the highway. Probably tires as they still had about 25% wear left at 60K.
RF window motor went out. Did not replace due to $300 to do so.
I drove mostly freeway so did a lot of miles...overall avg MPG was 35.
Performance was great, drove like a sports car.
Look at reviews, if transmission gets fixed, great car.Dec 08, 2014

One of the best vehicles in the sport compact class. Miles ahead of other cars in the class like the MAZDASPEED3, Volkswagen GTI, Honda Civic SI, Dodge Dart, and any other car in the FWD category. Fantastic ride, and a perfect choice for driving enthusiasts and manual fans alike.Jun 13, 2014

I like the gas mileage this car offers, it has saved our family plenty of money. The handling is precise; I feel safe driving this car during any weather. Safety was the reason we choose this car, it was rated highly. It silenced all worry I had about Ford reliability, I am very glad that I chose this car instead of a foreign one.Dec 05, 2013
